About Our Founder

Karen Weil-Morrison has been a child development educator for 38 years. Karen owned and operated preschools, elementary schools, junior high and high schools throughout the LA., Glendale, Burbank and San Fernando areas. She has taught all grade levels and has experience in public education.

As a licensed Clinical Hypnotherapist she specialized in eating disorders in children, adolescents, and family counseling, still finding the time to author over 30 books and children’s songs on children’s issues including “I Won’t Come Out” used by the UCLA Medical Staff for Eating Disorders in the past 15 years.

Close to her heart are two personal goals; encouraging community and social development as well as assisting today’s youth in education and self-development.

Karen also loves singing with Sweet Adelines, camping, and spending time enjoying the outdoors. The mother of four boys: Jason, Sean, Darin, and Brent, she now resides in Santa Clarita, California with her husband Michael.

Editor’s note: Karen also teaches in the classroom and goes above and beyond by staying up through the night hours on extended field trips and overnight campouts (go to sleep Karen!)
